Transit Warehouse Inc. is a major auto parts distributor located in Lévis on Québec City's south shore.

Since its inception in 1971, Transit has been a trailblazer in the field, distributing to clients across Québec, Ontario, as far east as the Maritimes and the west Canadian provinces. We serve wholesalers, re-distributors and auto-parts stores offering a wide spectrum of automobile, light truck and trailer parts as well as accessories such as brakes, suspension parts, chemical and electrical products. What's more, Transit now boasts its very own Top Quality brand.

Evidently much has been accomplished since the early days when the fledgling company thrived under the banner Jacques Guay Inc., the founder. The days of delivering spare parts in the back of his pickup and operating from the corner of his basement and a small warehouse in Pintendre are long gone.

In fact, 1994 saw the company change its name to Transit Warehouse Inc. and Jacques Guay's son, Stéphane, took over the company and to his credit the company has since grown significantly with annual sales up by a whopping 30%.

With constantly rising sales came the need to expand Transit's warehousing capabilities. Two different expansions, one in 1996 and another in 1998, proved inadequate to deal with steadily rising sales and the resulting necessity for more and more space. To supply the demand, a second building was added a year later to give Transit a total of 10,000 square feet of storage space. In no time, this too proved inadequate.

In July 2000, the company moved to a warehouse of more than 35,000 square feet that now enables Transit to run a state-of-the-art computerized warehouse capable of processing 6000 products at any given moment. This outstanding growth even allowed Transit to become a proud member of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA).

Transit's staff of 40 employees has played a huge part in this success. Rightly so, Transit's staff is always on the lookout for ways to offer top quality products at the lowest prices.
